Let the Advocacy Begin! In a few short weeks over 130 respiratory therapists from nearly every state in the country will head to Washington, D.C. for the 17th annual Respiratory Therapy Capitol Hill Advocacy Day. They will be joined by an additional contingent of local RT students and pulmonary patients.
You can help pave the way for the PACT RTs just before the April 12 Hill Day by participating in our Virtual Lobby Week. We set up an easy to use system called Capitol Connection which already has suggested emails (which you are free to edit) you can send depending on “who you are” to your 2 Senators and your member of the House of Representatives.
