  • I would like to see our NJ RT’s have a better understanding and appreciation of what we do, and get the message out to them that they can do the same.

Goals for the NJSRC:

  • Support educational activities for Respiratory Therapists in NJ.
  • Provide communications regarding licensure and regulatory activities affecting the practice of Respiratory Care in the state and nationally.
  • Support the AARCs goal of moving the entry level education to a bachelor’s degree.
  • With the goal of being recognized as professional by CMS and gaining reimbursement for professional services provided by a Licensed Respiratory Therapist.

  • I would like to see RT's NOT function as the nurse's subordinate but as equals in their specialty.
