We accept award nominations each year beginning January 15. NJSRC Awards for Exemplary Leadership and Achievements in the field of Respiratory Care, recognizing contributions and overall excellence in the Respiratory Care profession. While we all show our dedication to our profession, this is an excellent opportunity to recognize and celebrate the outstanding achievements of individuals within our Respiratory Care community. By taking a few moments to submit a nomination, you can play a crucial role in acknowledging their hard work and inspiring others within our profession. Recipients will be presented with their award at the Shore Conference during the Awards Ceremony. We encourage you to submit nominations for deserving candidates in the following categories.
A. Gerald Shapiro Award
This prestigious award recognizes an individual of national prominence whose excellence and achievement have promoted respiratory care. It considers outstanding contributions by either a physician or other healthcare provider.
Practitioner of the Year
Recognizing a licensed respiratory therapist in the state of New Jersey who has exhibited exceptional skills, professionalism, and a commitment to continuous learning and growth, having a direct impact on the respiratory profession. The recipient of this award must be a member of the AARC.
Vendor of the Year Award
Recognizes the vital role that corporate representatives play in providing essential products, services, and support to respiratory therapists and healthcare professionals. This exceptional individual consistently surpasses expectations in meeting the needs of respiratory care practitioners, ensuring the delivery of the best care to their patients. The individual consistently exhibits a commitment to excellence by representing their employer with distinction, delivering top-notch products, offering exceptional customer service, and introducing innovative solutions.
