Job Description
Christiana Care Health System (CCHS) is one of the largest, privately owned, not-for-profit academic affiliated health care systems in the United States. Based in Wilmington, Delaware, Christiana Care is the region's premier health care provider, serving Delaware and neighboring areas of Pennsylvania, Maryland, and New Jersey.
 
The Respiratory Care Department provides service for the Christiana and Wilmington hospitals. Our Respiratory Therapists serve in all areas of the hospital including the emergency department, adult and infant critical care units, medical-surgical floors in addition to performing diagnostic studies in our pulmonary laboratory.
 
The qualified candidate will be a graduate of a JRCRTE Educational Accreditation Committee approved School of Respiratory Therapy. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred. Must be licensed in the state of Delaware, or license eligible, and have at least 2-3 years of acute care experience.

OCCUPATIONAL

HEALTH TECHNICIAN

Per Diem


In this role, the selected candidate will assist with respiratory fit testing of our employees per mandatory OSHA regulations. Your ability to ensure that all testing equipment is in proper working order and that supplies are maintained will be essential to the position.

In addition to exceptional written and verbal communication skills, our qualifications include:

  • Associate’s degree in a health related field
  • At least two years of experience in respiratory fit testing or respiratory therapy
  • Strong teamwork and problem solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license
